COOLTONE® IS NOT A TRANSCUTANEOUS ELECTRICAL NERVE STIMULATION (TENS) UNIT.
A TENS Unit sends electronic stimulation through the skin. In order to impact the muscles, the device would have to be set to an uncomfortably high level, which would make the skin feel like it’s being burned. This is why these devices have never been successful in true muscle stimulation and growth — they are better suited for treating pain.
In contrast, the CoolTone® technology bypasses the skin entirely and focuses only on the muscles. This is why we are able to achieve “superhero contractions” while in a comfortable state.

If you are a good candidate, you can schedule a CoolTone® treatment session. Your Certified BodySquad Specialist will place the CoolTone® paddles on your targeted muscles while you recline comfortably and catch up on your favorite Netflix series. We will begin with the power setting on low and gradually increase it throughout the session. This is when you will begin to feel the muscle contractions. We ensure you will be comfortable throughout the procedure. You can expect to resume your normal routine as soon as you finish your 30-minute treatment.

SIDE EFFECTS OF COOLTONE
While clients often report little to no side effects in the treatment area, you may temporarily experience the following:

HOW MUCH DOES COOLTONE® COST?

IS COOLTONE® FOR ME?
There are many reasons why to choose CoolTone. For starters, anyone can benefit. How long is the treatment and how many sessions will I need?
The CoolTone® treatment is 30 minutes — less time than most people spend at a single gym visit. We recommend a minimum of 8-12 sessions scheduled 2-3 days apart. Your Certified BodySquad Specialist will establish and explain your customized treatment plan in detail so you know what to expect before beginning your transformation.
Is there any downtime or pre/post-treatment care?
One of the best parts about CoolTone® is that it is completely non-invasive and requires no recovery time and no special care before or after the treatment. Your targeted muscles may feel sore after treatment, similar to the feeling you get after a good workout but you can return to your normal activities immediately. Sit back and relax for this quick treatment.
WHAT DOES THE COOLTONE® TREATMENT FEEL LIKE?
The CoolTone® treatment will feel unfamiliar at first because your muscles are contracting while you are lying down and relaxing. You will feel a repetitive, powerful involuntary muscle contraction that cycles through three different patterns. Most people become comfortable with these contractions within the first few minutes of treatment. You can watch TV, read, or even take a nap during your treatment.
DO I NEED TO TAKE SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTS OR FOLLOW A STRICT EXERCISE OR EATING PROGRAM?
No, supplements are not required, and you do not have to adopt new exercise or eating habits. However, we always recommend a healthy diet and lifestyle to promote ultimate well-being. IS THE COOLTONE® A TENS UNIT?
No, CoolTone® is not a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) Unit. A TENS Unit sends electronic stimulation through the skin. In contrast, the CoolTone® bypasses the skin entirely focusing only on the muscles, resulting in a less painful, more effective muscle toning treatment.
IS THERE ANYONE WHO CANNOT HAVE THE COOLTONE® PROCEDURE?
CoolTone® uses electromagnetic energy so anyone unable to have an MRI is not a good candidate for this procedure. You are not eligible if you have a pacemaker or untreated hernia in the targeted area. This treatment is also not appropriate while you are pregnant.
