Headbands for Healthcare Heroes

Healthcare workers are going the extra mile and working endless hours to protect us, and we must give back to them. If you are looking for a way to help out during this time, but aren’t sure how we have the perfect craft for you! We call this craft “Headbands for Healthcare Heroes. These headbands help to keep the healthcare worker’s hair out of their face, and the buttons hold the strap for their masks, which can irritate their ears during their long-hour shifts. This craft is fun, easy and can be done right from the comfort of your own home! It’s time to put your creative hat on and give this craft a try!

Healthcare workers are facing a huge problem with severe shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other critical medical supplies. You may personally know someone working on the frontlines to donate your headband. If not, Masks For Heroes is an organization working hard to end the global shortage of PPE during the COVID-19. They have built a database of PPE requests from facilities around the world, and open it up to groups and individuals who have supplies to donate. Through their website (www.masksforheroes.com), donors can research facilities in need, and send donations. Your donation is greatly appreciated, whether that be 1 headband or 100, every single one counts!
